Homeschooling mama of two little wildlings, wife & visual storyteller
Hey mama! It’s so nice to have you here. We’ve probably connected in some way or another already but if we haven't, here’s a little glimpse into my life.
I was born in Austria but love made me jump on a plane and come to Australia after meeting ‘the one’ on a solo traveling trip through Central America. I have lived down under for the past 7 years now and have no plans to leave. After living in various parts of this stunning land I am now based on the beautiful Sunshine Coast in the warm and sunny Queensland, living life with my best friend and our two little kind-hearted and (very) energetic babes, plus a little pup who’ll be joining us oh-so-soon . Since I can remember I have always loved capturing life. But only a few years ago have I felt the urge to use my passion to gift people the most valuable gift of all - to travel back in time. The gift of preserved memories, heirloom pieces to be passed down from generation to generation.
I’m a real softie when it comes to memories. I keep basically everything that holds some sort of memory (yes I know I might have a little problem in that department haha) Just for a moment I’d like you to imagine the stories being told when your children’s children show their families pictures of you. Imagine them being able to feel the essence of your soul through those images. Feel your warmth, your gentleness, your strength and unconditional love. Imagine them sitting together snuggled up, talking about old times. Telling stories of you, stories of their family members that might by then have left this earthly body they’re looking at. Imagine you being brought back to life through photos. This is what I want to gift to you. Don’t wait for the perfect moment, time, dress .. to have yourself and your loved ones captured. The best time is now.

That is the journey you are about to embark on
let’s make sure your essence isn’t being lost in this digital age and create something that will last for generations and generations to come.
my why.
Becoming Mother Photography was born out of my love for documenting life’s little (big) moments. When I had my daughter about six years ago I couldn’t help but take picture after picture (as you do as a first time mama). But then a few years after, while scrolling back through countless iPhone images and selfies I realised that later on she wouldn’t have a lot of ‘me’ to look back on since generally I was the one behind the camera. I knew that I wasn’t the only one wishing that we had more memories captured together.
Beautiful images that she can once show her own children. That was the moment I decided to become a Motherhood Photographer. To capture not ONLY mothers but make the mother the centrepiece. Because let’s be honest, we are the glue that holds it all together and we deserve that our stories are being told.
