Hoamat: Heimat;Home

A personal, deeply intimate long-term project exploring the reality of living and raising children between my two homes - Austria and Australia. Investigating the notion between longing and belonging, searching to find bridges between here and there. The quest for scents, places, textures. I find home mostly outside. Around water, animals, the forest. It is a strange feeling to recognise a place so seemingly far away on an entirely different continent. The possibility of this has always fascinated me.
